MASHA won CHAMPION of TAXSIM ( 1st Place) at Belly Dancer of the Universe Competition! Feb. 2012 * Taxsim is an improvisational category where none of the contestants are allowed to hear the music before setting foot on stage, therefore, one of the most challenging tests of a dancers musicality and ability to spontaneously / intuitively express music through dance.
Masha is the premiere Oriental dance ( Belly Dance) performer of the San Francisco Bay Area, distinguished for her grace, refined musicality and unique charm. Spectators have noted powerful elements in Masha’s dancing, likening her movements to the personified flow of Water and Air.
She can be seen performing regularly at a number of venues through out the SF and East Bay areas ( see ‘On Going Shows’ page ) and is available for booking to perform for various types of family friendly celebrations… concerts, grand-openings, corporate gatherings, new year parties, weddings, birthdays, baby/bridal showers, theme parties, and more!
